Ghataat Khodro Ettehadieh Novin Company

G.E.N. Co. Is one of the major producers of automotive parts (i.e. plastic covered lights, and various electrical parts) in Iran. The company's history spans nearly 40 years going back to 1969 when its founder, Farhad Ettehadieh, saw a niche in the market and set up his own factory, “Ettehadieh Manufacturing” the first to manufacture and supply the above components to the Iranian auto industry.
With the expansion of the local ear manufacturers and the increasing need for the after sales market, ‘Ettehadieh Manufacturing’ responded in 2002 by major investment in the latest German injection moulding machines as well as in modern tools and enhanced production lines.
In compliance with customer requirements ‘Ettehadieh Manufacturing’ applied for a aeries of ISO standards in 1996, and in 2006 succeeded in obtaining ISO 9001: 2008 and ISO/TS 16949:2002.
Then in 2008 in accordance with the new commercial regulations ‘Ettehadieh Manufacturing’ dissolved itself as a sole proprietorship and incorporated into a shareholding company.
The new company ‘Ghataat Khodro Ettehadieh Novin Company’ (G.E.N.Co) relocated itself in its present site of 4,500 sq. meters of modern facilities in the compound of the Parand industrial estate. At present, to fulfill its expansion program, G.E.N. Co. employs 120 production personnel and 20 engineers and technicians. It remains one of the major suppliers specializing in O.E.M. and the after sales market in automotive lights, plastic parts and turn signal switches in Iran.
